The ARTIST MARKET is modeled after the popular annual HOLIDAY ART SALE, and both have become highly anticipated events drawing diverse artists and patrons. In keeping with our mission, and our gallery patron base, the ARTIST MARKET once again offers high-quality, original, handcrafted fine arts and crafts items that are affordably priced (many items under $100), and reflect the cultural diversity of metropolitan Atlanta.
The event will include local artists with and without disabilities, working in a variety of artistic mediums, including watercolors, acrylics on canvas, giclée prints and cards, hand-knitted fiber items, textile art, hand-made books, boxes and cards, hand-made jewelry in glass and beadwork, hand-carved wooden walking sticks and more. More than a dozen artists, some new and some returning favorites, including: Eleanor Brownfield/5 Star Knits; Paula Buford; Colleen Casey/SlothCraft; Designs by Minna/Minna Hong; IronHawk Forge; Rozelle Morton-Bush; Southern Flameworks/Mollie Lakin-Hayes; Kimono Cards/Mona Soyak; Judy Lynn/Mirabelle Studios; Bill Whitlock; Bill Yeatman; and Andrea Zoppo.
Arts for All Gallery is located in the historic Healey Building at 57 Forsyth Street, NW, in Downtown Atlanta. First Thursday events are free and open to the public, complimentary light refreshments are provided, and at Arts for All Gallery an ASL interpreter will be present, and live Audio Description for patrons with visual impairments is available upon request.
