Don't forget the First Thursday Art Walk February 2!Waste Not! Art from Found Materials.
In Arts for All Gallery January 9-February 17, 2012 First Thursday Reception, February 2, 2012 5-8 pm. Waste Not! is a group show featuring work from the artists at Creative Expressions Studio in Milledgeville, GA. The entire exhibit was created from found and recycled objects that were donated to the studio by the town. Creative Expressions is an integrated arts program that works with performing and visual artists with developmental disabilities to foster self expression, self determination and community involvement. It brings together the Life Enrichment Center, the Music Therapy Department of Georgia College and State University, the Education , Work, and Activity Center at Central State Hospital, the GCSU Biology Department and the Lockerly Arboretum. Come meet the Artists at our monthly reception, Thursday February 2, 2012 from 5-8 pm. All artwork in this exhibit is for sale and proceeds will be split with the artists. Patrons who make purchases will be asked to leave the work in Arts for All Gallery until the close of the exhibit. Log in to view private information
